Sarah James: http://futsalfreaks.com/best-futsal-ball Thats it. Sept 5, 2016 22:29:49 GMT -5
rifle: I hear Landon is un-retiring. Sept 8, 2016 10:52:04 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: aren't you only allowed to roster 18? Sept 9, 2016 8:44:42 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: You would have to deactivate a player etc Sept 9, 2016 8:46:36 GMT -5
in the know: yeah, somewhere warm coming next Sept 9, 2016 10:12:51 GMT -5
mamampira: @soccerhouse: thought it was 20-something Sept 9, 2016 17:04:49 GMT -5
Help!: If a U11 team is playing a U12 team, are both teams allowed headers? Sept 11, 2016 13:52:56 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: Referees should enforce these restrictions by age group according to the specified rules. Referees will not be assessing the age of individual players on the field; they will enforce the rules for the age group. --- but according to the way its written -- Sept 12, 2016 2:30:41 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: the u11s should still try to avoid heading the ball, but it is not a penalty Sept 12, 2016 2:31:35 GMT -5
SoccerMom: Refs at CF games said headers were allowed yesterday, it was U11. They were also 30 minutes late so very clueless Sept 12, 2016 3:11:17 GMT -5
HeaderRule: And I thought the rule is supposed to be "intentional" heading. Refs were calling it even if the ball touched a kid's head that was trying to get out of the way! Sept 12, 2016 7:13:03 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: Should be allowed in <= u11 games, however, should not be part of the weekly training sessions. unless it happens in a scrimmage etc. Most teams do not do header drills or training anyway and heading is a crucial part of a youth soccer game. Sept 12, 2016 7:42:26 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: punting is the problem not headers Sept 12, 2016 7:42:31 GMT -5
Slick96: Agreed trying to head punts is the issue. This being enforced differently depending on what ref you have is the bigger issue. It needs to be universally enforced or not in U11. In reality USSF should have grandfathered this rule starting U9 this year. Sept 12, 2016 8:16:20 GMT -5
Slick96: They should have grandfathered the age change also starting with U9 this year then U9 and U10 the next and so on. That would have helped a lot of issues that are going on now. Sept 12, 2016 8:16:52 GMT -5
HeaderRule: Refs are not enforcing the header rule correctly or consistently - maybe it's a learning curve with the new rule. Also - kickoffs are allowed to go backward (according to FIFA), also no consistent ref'ing there. And AMEN to grandfathering the age change! Sept 12, 2016 13:26:53 GMT -5
Gwinnett Soccer Guru: No heading in American youth soccer is like playing two-hand touch football and not allowing charges in basketball. Rules like these helps me understand why the US men are currently ranked #26 in the world. Sept 14, 2016 8:19:53 GMT -5
Soccerhouse: vote up there ^^^^^ Sept 16, 2016 9:38:43 GMT -5
rifle: Google "scottish tiki-taka"... Sept 17, 2016 3:07:37 GMT -5
zizou: rifle, that is hilarious! obviously not enforcing a no header rule!! Sept 19, 2016 9:57:24 GMT -5
